Ingredients per serving
- 1 cup of sliced Brussels sprouts
- 1 slice of cooked bacon, reserve grease
- 1/2 tsp of grainy mustard
- 1/2 tsp of balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper
Prepare the sprouts by removing the ends and slicing them into discs. Cook the bacon, then saute the sprouts in the bacon grease until they are crisp tender, about 7 minutes. Squeeze about 1/2 tsp of grainy mustard and a few dashes of balsamic vinegar over the sprouts and cook a few more minutes. Crumble bacon over to serve.
I paired this with grilled salmon and fresh pineapple.
